Natural Science Center of Greensboro

Hands-on museum and zoo. Features a 36-foot Tyrannosaurus rex model, virtual reality, aquarium, vertebrate lab, exploratorium for young children and exhibits on geology, health and meteorology. Zoo includes animal contact area, bison, birds of prey, cougar, lemurs and other animals.

Chinqua Penn Plantation & Vineyards, located just North of Greensboro at 2138 Wentworth Street in Reidsville, is open for tours. The historic home of Jeff and Betsy Penn is filled with art and antiques collected from the Penn's world travels.
