      10/01/11- 05/12/12	Los Artistas (ages 13-18) Cultural Arts Center - 4th floor Los Artistas (ages 13-18) Presented by Center for Visual Artists, Greensboro at Cultural Arts Center - 4th floor October 1, 2011-May 12, 2012 Los Artistas is a program for middle and high school Spanish-speaking students that provides a creative environment to express one's identity and artistic voice through the visual arts. Participants will experiment and explore their artistic boundaries using a variety of materials and techniques.
      09/20/11- 06/07/12	Kidstudio: Mini Masters Cultural Arts Center - 4th floor Kidstudio: Mini Masters Presented by Center for Visual Artists, Greensboro at Cultural Arts Center - 4th floor September 20, 2011-June 7, 2012 Tuesday: Drawing-Develop drawing skills and learni techniques in portraiture, composition,cartooning, and more. Wednesday: Painting-Learn how to control a range of paint media while developing color theory,composition, etc. Thursday: Sculpting-Focus on construction, manipulation, and the creation of functional and sculptural forms using a variety of 3D media.

Each afternoon is structured with a different art emphasis and parents can join us 1 day a week or all five! This program is a perfect arts enrichment opportunity to add to your child’s preschool education.
