Smith Reynolds Library Mixing Electronic Sounds with a Romantic Violin: The Pioneering Work of Mario Davidovsky Presented by Wake Forest University Music at Z. Smith Reynolds Library March 20, 2012 In the 1960s, Argentine-born composer Mario Davidovsky began his series of Synchronisms, which were some of the first compositions to integrate electronic sounds with acoustic instruments.
