About the artist: Artist Tracey J. Marshall grew up on a farm in North Carolina where, even as a child, she enthusiastically took to the arts. Studying art in high school confirmed for Tracey that she was born to be an artist.

She attended Savannah College of Art and Design along with several local colleges through a consortium program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro were she received her BFA Degree. Tracey’s style quickly developed into an energetic and fun expression of how she experiences life.

Tracey founded the former “The Marshall Gallery” in April of 2000 located in Greensboro, NC. Although the gallery has changed locations, structure and appearances, her drive to promote local artists and educate the public about all aspects of the arts continued. In 2006 Tracey changed her business plan and opened a new co-op gallery “Marshall Art Gallery” with new and old friends. She utilizes the gallery to promote her work as well as the work of other artists.

Marshall Art Gallery is a progressive gallery led by an enthusiastic team of creative people who enjoy the world of fine art. Our mission is to promote fine art within a fun and inviting environment were shoppers of all levels of art knowledge and budgets will enjoy the ever changing collection of work we offer. Our goal is to keep a revolving inventory of quality art across all media such as painting, sculpture, pottery, watercolor, photography, jewelry, glasswork and more. We enjoy serving groups of all ages by creating opportunities to engage them in the art world through art classes, tours, and shows. Our goal is to nurture the careers of our artists spiritually, emotionally and artistically. Most importantly, each of us believes that art is for everyone and that each work becomes more valuable as it is enjoyed, shared and passed on to others.
