About the artist:

I've been writing poetry since my early teens. I started publishing my poems in blog format in 2007. My two blogs, Verbal Xpression-verbalxpression.blogspot.com(poetry blog) and Black Men Making A Difference-bmmad.blogspot.com which deal social issues give me the opportunity to share my gift of writing. Verbal Xpression has a writing workshop associated with it that I have developed for ages 13 and adults of any age who wish to explore more deeply why they take time out of their busy lives to write. As a community volunteer I strongly beleive in giving back and supporting positive activities in my community for the youths and seniors around us.
