  About the artist: Born in Louisiana, raised throughout the central U.S., I am a self taught artist who works in wood and on the rare occasion oil paint. The style I tend to work in has its roots in central Texas, and offers a bit of a southwestern flair. My hardwood inlaid furniture and accent pieces are one-of-a-kind and unique in their design. The base woods are walnut, oak or maple(ambrosia maple is my favorite). I am new in the art scene, but have been in the traid since 1990.
  
  My works are currently showing at Urban Artware (www.urbanartware.com) on 6th and Trade St. in the Winston Salem Arts District.
