About the artist: I was born in Elgin Illinois and moved to North Carolina with my parents as a child. Being a self taught artist, I remember drawing as early as age four. By age eight, I started using pastels; eventually I began painting in oil by
age twelve. My Paintings have been soldworldwide,
featured in articles, Art Exhibits and achieved first place in art competitions.
I earned my Bachelor Degree form Guilford College located in Greensboro North Carolina.
Currently, I reside in Asheboro North Carolina with my husband and three lovely children. I thank God for being born with the gift of art and the constant support of my
family in encouraging my self-expression.
