Ragsdale High School

The Ragsdale Extravaganza is an all night drug and alcohol free event. Ragsdale High PTA has hosted this party for the last 15 years for graduating seniors. Parents plan all kinds of activites for the kids to let them know that they can have fun without drugs and drinking. The seniors arrive at 8pm and are released at 5am the next morning. An event of this caliber requires a lot of volunteer hours and of course, money. My name is Karen Hall and I am in charge of the spring fair as a fundraiser to help raise money. I would like to advertise as much as possible to get some customer flow the day of the show. Plants are preordered and the pick-up day is during the craft show. I hope that the extravaganza will be published in the Triad section. Thank you

      We were doing the best we could under the weather conditions, our athletic director wouldn't let bands march on the fields, for fear it would tear up the sod. Our football team was in the running... Expand

      We were doing the best we could under the weather conditions, our athletic director wouldn't let bands march on the fields, for fear it would tear up the sod. Our football team was in the running for The State Championship at the time, and we didn't want our playoff games to have a torn up field. All the bands in your division weren't allowed to march, so you were judged on the same basis. Later in the day, when it dried up a bit, bands were allowed to march. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but a lot of our guides didn't know what to do, because we were scrambling at the last minute with all the schedule changes due to weather. Distribution of information was difficult, and we were all frustrated. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, and I hope next year you decide to come back. Maybe we can give you a better impression.       This festival was a JOKE. We didn't get to march because of the crappy field, while the other bands did. I thought that it was completely unfair. How can be judged on something we didn't even do? The... Expand

How can be judged on something we didn't even do? The guides were horrible and had bad attitudes. I will NEVER attend this festival again! Collapse

      Ledford and Northwest did awesome and I just wanted to find out who won. We had to leave before the results were told. I'm hoping it was Northwest--they rocked!!
