Grove Winery

Grove Winery is located 11 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits. From award winning vineyards, first planted in 1993, exceptional wines are grown and crafted. The 44 acre Guilford County farm features a small, artisan winery and the estate vineyards which are located on sloping, mineral rich land in the Haw River Valley wine country. The estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate: Merlot, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Cab Franc, Traminette and Tempranillo.

    The experience at Grove is always good, and adding the Decatur St band should be a hoot. These guys, from the Durham area, do New Orleans style jazz.

    Just a note to let the world know what I think of Grove Winery. Their great selection of wines are superb. I promise, at the wine tasting, you will find that they have a wine that you will love. They, also, are true patrons of the arts. They have artists' shows hanged in the tasting room monthly, they sponsor an annual crafts show, plus they have regular wine and live music events. One of the most appealing things of all is the people. Everyone I've met at Grove is genuinely "good folk" and will help you feel like you belong. My husband and I like it so much, we even were married there. Wish we lived closer so that we could stop by for a little wine tasting on a regular basis. Collapse
