Peculiar People

Peculiar People is touring theater company based in Greensboro, North Carolina. This team of actors bring a unique blend Spiritual insight and comedy to many non-traditional theater audiences. Writing their own material, Peculiar People deliver both inspiration and entertainment.

Peculiar People is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is eligible for charitable donations and registered in the state of North Carolina.

      My Little Brother Justin and I had the good fortune of getting a sneak peak at this years cast of Victorian Christmas rehearsing. We were just able to see the first half of the show, but knew after that taste that we wanted to partake of the entire show. The actors/singers are talented... The music is fun and enjoyable..       A delightful way to begin the Christmas Holidays - a group of talented and committed actors bring to life a Victorian Christmas. The audience easily becomes encapsulated in a "very real feeling" production that reminds all of the true meaning of Christmas. The venue is a third story flat in downtown Greensboro, NC that was once part of a turn of the century hotel saved/restored in it's original shape and takes you to a place in time where people dressed with great care, life was full of cheer, entertaining, a table spread with delightful foods & drinks (all a part of the event). What an uplifting change from the very commercialized aspect of Christmas currently. This is a must experience, particularly if you yearn for something more substantial than what society has let Christmas become. Cheers to this acting group for their hard work and obvious pride in this production! It was a wonderful experience worth repeating - something you won't grow tired of no matter the frequency.       My wife and I went to see this play on opening night and it was wonderful! We were laughing through almost the whole play. It has a wonderful message and wonderful talents. I recommend it to all!!!
