City Arts Drama Center is the umbrella for all the drama programs of Greensboro Parks & Recreation, including Greensboro Children's Theatre, Livestock Players, 3rd Stage Theatre Co., Greensboro Playwrights' Forum and Greene Pictures as well as a drama education program.

    01/30/10	Save the Last Death for Me Gala and Murder Mystery Cultural Arts Center - Atrium Save the Last Death for Me Gala and Murder Mystery Presented by City Arts Drama Center at Cultural Arts Center - Atrium January 30, 2010 The City Arts Drama Center Booster Club presents the 4th annual fundraiser Gala and Murder Mystery. Tickets include dinner, dancing, and an original musical murder mystery by local playwright Tommy Trull that has been described as a cross between The Big Chill and High School Musical. This event is fun for the whole family!

Find out what happens when the Livestock High School books their Senior Prom and their parents' reunion on the same night. Will crotchty principal Hyers servive the revenge plotted by both generations.
    07/10/09- 07/19/09	West Side Story Weaver Academy Theatre West Side Story Presented by City Arts Drama Center at Weaver Academy Theatre July 10-July 19, 2009 The City Arts Drama Center presents their annual BIG Summer Musical, West Side Story, The classic tale of Romeo & Juliet set in 1950's New York City. July 10-12 & 17-19 at the Weaver Academy Theatre, 300 S. Spring Street. Showtimes are Fri. & Sat. at 7 pm and Sun. at 2 pm. Tickets are available online or by calling 272-0160.
    05/18/09- 05/19/09	Auditions for West Side Story Greensboro Cultural Arts Center Auditions for West Side Story Presented by City Arts Drama Center at Greensboro Cultural Arts Center May 18-May 19, 2009 The City Arts Drama Center will hold auditions for their summer production West Side Story, May 18 & 19 (7-9 pm) at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Production dates are July 10-12 & 17-19. Spanish interpreters will be on hand to assist with auditions and rehearsals.

      If you don't go see it for the beautiful voice of Mary Baynard, go see it for the energetic and exciting choreography and vocals of the ensemble. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.
