    High Point Museum

    The High Point Museum collects, preserves, and interprets the history of greater High Point to develop, encourage and foster a shared understanding and appreciation of our community through a knowledge of its past.

    Now providing OnCell Audio Tours for its three on-site historic buildings (Haley House, Blacksmith House and the Hoggatt House) and its three off-site historic properties (Little Red Schoolhouse, Mendenhall Meeting House and the Mendenhall Store). . These audio tours can be accessed and serve visitors 24 hours a day. This resource allows visitors to use their cell phones to call (336-289-4072) and select a number corresponding to a building and learn more about it. The only cost is the use of their cell phone minutes.

    The Museum will be open to the public Thursday – Saturday 10 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday 1 pm to 4:30 pm. The Historic Park hours will remain the same Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm.
