a documentary conveying the true story of a North Carolina family who view themselves as simply ordinary. The parents and their teenagers have different hearing losses, communication approaches and technology preferences. The family's strong spirit of harmony emphasizes that Deafness is only a small part of who they are. Their unique history contrasts decisions parents make over generations, and highlights success through varied choices. This forty-minute video, co-produced by CENTe-R staff, Anne McNally, Mary V Compton, Judy Niemeyer and Tom Lipscomb, a documentary filmmaker, is a viewing experience that will be appreciated not only by those interested in hearing loss, inclusion and the Deaf community but will be enjoyed by anyone fascinated by communication!

Come to the exciting local premiere of a movie starring the family of a UNCG faculty member, Karen De Naples!
