I have witnessed theater for many years throughout the Triad. This production of Blood Brothers was one of the strongest performances I have ever seen. Besides very "tough" subject matter, and haunting yet memorable music, the acting by this cast is superb, forcing one to blink and remember that this play is being performed in Greensboro, NC. It is impressive to watch at how smoothly the characters age 20 years before your eyes. Collapse

directed to "what" -- did you notice that it says "based on the gospel of St. Matthew"??? I believe that's included in your precious King James !! This play is a wonderful telling of Christ's life with great music that has been bringing youth to the church for 30 years !! It's a down to earth , realistic portrayal that's very insightful and uplifting. Kudos to the group for doing it and I challenge you to experience it before you condemn it! Collapse

Why would you even put God in front of a word and there's no God in that funny, rocking stuff. You really need to read more of the King James version of the Bible. That is the only version

A playwright with four flops in a row. A student with a sure-fire hit. A wife with a heart condition. These are the elements of Ira Levin’s “Deathtrap,” Broadway’s longest-running thriller. While Levin brings the suspense of “Rosemary’s Baby” and “The Stepford Wives” to his play, it’s also filled with delicious dark humor and is suitable for ages 12 and up. It delivered a few genuine shrieks from the audience during Sunday’s matinee. Bill Raulerson directs a talented cast that includes Neil Shepherd as the playwright with a ruthless streak and a wicked weapon collection. Meghan Hoffman is his worried wife. Daniel Stine is the young talent who seems disingenuous or threatening by turns. Susan L. Jones provides comic relief as Dutch psychic Helga Ten Dorp. Randall C. Morris adopts a "Noo Yoik" accent as Bruhl’s lawyer. After a tension-filled first act, the second act is a little slow getting started. But its conclusion on a dark and stormy night makes it worthwhile. Collapse

The truth and lies of the dating game. This show is so perfect to take someone that you want to tell how much you may or may not, sort of, could have but better not, might, and maybe, fall in love with. I wish the last guy I went out with was there. GREAT SHOW! Very good actors and singers. You will laugh and cry and wonder why you never thought to write this show based on your own experience. I highly recommend it. Collapse
