    Carolina Model Railroaders, Inc. (CMR) is Greensboro's oldest model railroad club. CMR has served the Triad with over 34 years of model railroad experience. We have Z, N, and HO layouts to appeal to all scales for the hobbyist. We are located at The Depot, REA Building 234B E. Washington St., Greensboro, N.C. We are open from Saturday’s from 10am-5pm and Sunday’s 2pm-5pm. Free admission and Free parking.

        Our son went with his grandparents to see the trains. He is 2 and loves trains! I was concerned whether or not they would be able to handle his excitement. As it turns out, he was too enthralled with the trains to be "the average two year old". I highly recommend this as free fun for the family. The only down side is passing by the Children's Museum, and they have a fit to go. :-) Collapse

        This is a great place for train lovers. My daughter loves Thomas and any train. the members of this club are very kid friendly and although it is tough to keep hands off it is worth a trip to visit... Expand

My daughter loves Thomas and any train. the members of this club are very kid friendly and although it is tough to keep hands off it is worth a trip to visit the Railroaders.
