HOLIDAY

Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'
December 19, 2008
Just as discovering the spirit of Christmas changed the life of irascible Ebenezer Scrooge, treating your family to the theatrical magic of A Christmas Carol leads to a kaleidoscope of delightful discoveries about the joyful spirit of the holiday season. By artfully combining elements of spectacle, music and dance, the Nebraska Theatre Caravan has been delighting children and transporting audiences of all ages on a magical journey right along side Ebenezer Scrooge for nearly three decades. With all the warmth and comfort of a cup of Christmas cheer, A Christmas Carol is packed with laughter, pageantry and decoration. Like a three-dimensional Victorian Christmas card that magically unfolds, every memorable detail of Dickens’ tale springs to life: from spine-chilling ghosts to heartfelt renditions of traditional British carols. Crotchety Scrooge, lovable Tiny Tim, and all the fascinating characters that audiences have come to love make the enchanting story a treasured holiday event.
