N.C. Knap-In and Primitive Skills Rendezvous

at C. Dixon's aristrip

Come see flintknapping (making stone arrowheads, knives, and spearpoints), primitive bow construction, arrow building. How to make fire with a bow drill. How to make cortege, sinew processing, primitive leather & pottery working. blacksmithing. Plant walk and identification. How to build debris and primitive shelters. Items will be for sale and/or barter. Primitive vendors welcome (must check with organizers first). Almost unlimited parking. There is no admission charge. We will accept donations of one dollar per car each day.
