The MFA Writing Program, The Greensboro Review and Spring Garden Press will sponsor the reading, which begins at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Center on College Avenue. A reception and book signing will follow.
Phillips’ second book, “Boy,” was published by the University of Georgia Press in March 2008. His first collection, “Chattahoochee,” was chosen by Robert Pinsky, Alice Quinn and Robert Wrigley for the 2005 Kate Tufts Discovery Award.
