Emily Singleton is from West Virginia and performed in one of the first concerts held at Blessings back in December of 2006. We’re delighted to be bringing her back along with husband Dave Higgs on guitar, 12-string guitar, octave mandolin and banjo. Emily covers a lot of ground with her song selection, from traditional folk songs to standards like “Summertime,” blues songs such as “House of the Rising Sun,” and contempory songs like Bill Staines “Roseville Fair.”

She handles them all with her great singing and backed by Dave’s solid instrumental work. Her first two albums received frequent airplay on radio shows around the country and the latest, “Spirit,” is getting the same treatment. Emily’s warm, laid back stage presence makes for a very engaging show. Another “Don’t Miss” show.
