In celebration of the Bicentennial of Greensboro, the Natural Science Center of Greensboro will host a brand new, unique event, Web Weavers and Whale Tales. Designed to fuse the cultural and artistic traditions of our community with the natural world that surrounds us, extraordinary local storytellers, authors, artists and science experts will take visitors to a time when the Triad was a little “wilder.” In addition to our line-up of top-notch featured guests, visitors to Web Weavers will enjoy special displays featuring wool spinning, beekeeping, critter control, water conservation, gardening, geology, and wildlife rehabilitation. Fun-filled crafts and special Natural Science Center “tattoos” will further entertain children.
