The Chinqua Penn Spring Music Series is set for May. We've moved the shows to Wednesdays to coincide with the Rockingham County Farmer's Market next door. All shows are free. Feel free to bring family, friends, chairs and or picnics. Please no outside alcohol. Music starts at 6pm. We've got a great line-up for this spring. May 7 - Wayne Seymour - Reidsville's own nationally known folk musician and songwriter brings his stories, dulcimer and acoustic guitar to the Chinqua Penn stage May 14 - Georgianna and Penn Family Music - Georgianna, mom, dad and sisters have been singing together for a lifetime. Special appearance by local singer/songwriter, Tracy Earl Welliver and the Have a Nice Day Project. Georgianna will be also be signing her new book May 21 - Bruce Piephoff, folk & blues songwriter/singer/guitarist with 16 CD's to his credit makes a return visit to the Chinqua Penn stage after last year's very successful show May 28 - Doug & Telisha Williams - National recording artists from Martinsville, playing songs from their hit CD "Rope Around My Heart" and also some new stuff from their next album The Chinqua Penn Vineyards Tasting Room is open noon-5pm, Wed-Sun for tastings or simply a glass of wine on our patio.
