Art de Printemps - Springtime Gala and Silent Art Auction for Theatre Art Galleries in High Point When: Friday, May 2nd, 2008, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Where: The Swaim Showroom, 411 South Main Street -High Point N.C. Theatre Art Galleries (TAG) of High Point proudly announces 'Art de Printemps’, TAG’s 2008 Silent Auction and Fundraiser Gala! An annual tradition in High Point, this springtime event serves as the primary fundraiser for TAG - High Point’s only visual arts education and exhibition venue. Top-notch catering and the opportunity to meet influential local artists has made the Gala a major event for art lovers, friends of TAG and anybody interested in partying for a good cause. Featuring all-original works of art that discerning auction-goers have come to expect, this year’s Gala also boasts live music by the Buie Trio and fabulous food by Southern Roots. The silent auction includes not only fine art but exceptional furniture pieces, spa services and unique, handcrafted jewelry. This year’s raffle painting is “Impressions of a Peach Orchard on a Spring Day,” an original work in oil by Connie Winters. Raffle tickets are available at $15.00 each or in groups of 10 for $100.00. Art de Printemps is open to the public. The party takes off at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 2nd inside the beautiful Swaim Showroom at 411 South Main Street in High Point. Tickets are available to members of TAG for $65.00 and non-members for $75.00. Proceeds will benefit all of TAG's education and outreach programs.
