    YES! Weekly presents The 22nd Annual Carolina Blues Festival. This event, the longest-running blues festival in the Southeast, is produced by the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society, and is the anchor event for the 5th Annual Piedmont Jazz & Blues Festival. This year, the Festival returns to a six band format, featuring four national touring blues acts: Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Nora Jean Bruso, and Sean Costello. Rounding out the lineup are regional favorites Blues World Order and 2007 PBPS Blues Challenge winner Big Road Blues. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE 2 p.m. Big Road Blues 2:45 p.m. Blues World Order 4 p.m. Sean Costello 5:45 p.m. Nora Jean Bruso 7:30 p.m. Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience 9:15 p.m. Li’l Ed & The Blues Imperials April 12-May 2, advance tickets are $25.00. On May 3, day of show, tickets are $30.00 at the gate. Kids 12 and under get in free day of show. The PBPS is also offering a special group rate of $10.00 per ticket with a minimum ten (10) ticket order. To get this deal, you must mail your ticket request in on your company or office letterhead, with check or money order payable to the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society. Group ticket discounts are available through April 30. Tickets will be available at the Carolina Theatre Box office, 310 South Greene Street, downtown Greensboro (Mon-Fri, hours are 12pm-5pm), or charge by phone by calling (336) 333-2605.
