    Area art lovers will be placing their bids as the African American Atelier, a 501(c), hosts Part II of the Masters List Art Auction on Friday, May 2nd, 2008 at 5:30 pm. The African American Atelier in the Greensboro Cultural Center located 200 North Davie Street. Proceeds from this event will be used to assist the Atelier Around the World Youth Program and upcoming exhibitions. Art work from many local artists including James Barnhill, Eric McRay, James Williams, Floyd Newkirk, James Huff, Alma Adams, Emmett Williams, Leo Rucker, Brittain Peck, Roy Nydorf, Andrena Coleman, James McMillan, John Rogers, Michael Pendergrass and many others will be auctioned! Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet local artist, network, purchase original art, and support a very worthy cause! The African American Atelier is a non-profit art education facility and gallery. The Atelier seeks to promote an awareness, appreciation and sensitivity to the visual arts and culture of African Americans while working in harmony with other ethnic groups.
