PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE

Pippin
April 23-April 25, 2008
Add Review/CommentHaving successfully performed Sweet Charity, Bye Bye Birdie and Li’l Abner in recent years, the Page High School Playmakers now focus their considerable talents on one of the most intriguing and unforgettable Broadway musicals of all time. The Page Playmakers proudly present Pippin. It’s been called “a play within a play” and a “musical fairy tale.” The story centers on King Charlemagne’s oldest son, Pippin, who is a young prince searching for fulfillment in 780 A.D. Much of Pippin’s trials and tribulations are narrated (and performed) by the Leading Player and the ever-evolving troupe of actors.
