    The African American Atelier will host ‘First Friday at the Atelier’ on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 5:00 pm, in the Greensboro Cultural Center. ‘First Friday at the Atelier’ is an opportunity to view and acquire original art by regional and area artists. Live painting and drawing demonstrations will be conducted onsite. Guest Artists include Emmett Williams, Floyd Newkirk, James Williams, Leo Rucker and James McMillian. ‘First Friday at the Atelier is a featured event of the 2008 Annual African American Arts Festival, a countywide festival celebrating the artistic accomplishments of African Americans through various art forms.
