A Lenten Offering - Christ UMC Concert

Christ United Methodist Church will present a concert of sacred music for choir and instruments titled, “A Lenten Offering,” in the church’s Sanctuary. The program will include Schubert’s Mass in G for choir, organ and strings; Mozart’s Church Sonatas for Organ and Strings; and Paul Halley’s Sanctus and Benedictus and Agnus Dei for choir, organ and soprano saxophone. The concert will be presented by the Chancel Choir of Christ UMC, featuring Wally West (soprano saxophone) and André Lash (organ). This event is FREE and open to the public. An offering will be taken for the church’s Lenten Fund, which helps support missionaries in Africa and Bolivia. Christ United Methodist Church is located at 410 N. Holden Road in Greensboro.
