PERFORMING ARTS DANCE

Saturday Series
March 8, 2008
Add Review/CommentThe North Carolina Dance Project will present the next Saturday Series concert on Saturday, March 8 at 8pm in the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie Street. This will be an informal presentation of new and experimental choreography, about an hour long, without intermission. Designed as an opportunity for area choreographers to present new work at no cost to themselves, this will be the first presentation since the NC Dance Project assumed responsibility for the City Arts dance program. The show will be offered in the Dance Project’s own space, Studio 323. A wide variety of contemporary dance will be performed, and there will be an opportunity for discussion with the dancers and choreographers at the end of the show. Cory Stephenson, Jennifer McMure, Heather Doyle, Karla Coghill, and Nicole Laliberte will be showing work. The Saturday Series in an ongoing presentation, offered several times each year as a service to the Greensboro dance community and dance audiences throughout the region. Admission is $5 and seating is limited. For information and ticket reservations call 373 2727.
