Seats from the 1960 Greensboro Sit-Ins 3. A Medical bag and diploma of Dr. J.E. Dellinger who had a successful medical practice, taught chemistry at what is now N.C. A&T State University, and served in the Spanish-American War. Documents: 1. Two documents recording the sale of human beings as slaves Photographs: 1. Churches founded just after the Civil War and an early African American volunteer fire company 2. People including Greensboro’s first African American city councilman, district court judge, fire and police chiefs 3. North Carolina A&T and Bennett graduates 4. Activists including the late Dr. George Simkins, John Vines, and Martha Sebastien
