    Guilford College Concert January 27, 2007 7:30 p.m. Dana Auditorium MUSICA HARMONIA Joan Griffing, violin Diane Pheonix-Neal, viola Beth Vanderborgh, cello Luciano Caneiro, contrabass Lynne Mackey, piano Musica Harmonia was newly formed in 2007. The musicians, who met through the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC, come together in this ensemble with a goal to promote peace and cultural understanding through musical collaboration. They have all experienced life in many countries of the world including Brazil, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Canada and the USA. This chamber recital will feature Franz Schubert’s Quintet in A major (“The Trout”) and the Four Seasons of Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
