“Awake The White And Wint’ry Queen” is a seasonal Winter Solstice concert unique to the Triad, written, composed and produced by Scott Fray. In 2012 the show enters its fifth year of production, playing one performance only on the date of the Winter Solstice.

The concert celebrates the return to the season of light with a blend of original music and world-beat grooves with dance performances and a sense of spectacle. The show features the soaring voices and instruments of some of the Triad’s most eclectic musical talent, accentuated by dance, projected video elements and spoken word.

Returning to the production this year are the vocal talents of Meredith Holladay, Crystal Bright of “Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands,” Stuart Stanley, Bradford Reaves and Renee Henry of “One String Over” and Amber Marlowe of “Windfall." New to the show are the dancers from Artistic Motion Dance Company with choreography from Natalya Davison.
