2012 Fruitcake Film Challenge Film Festival

The Triad Indie Film Network is sponsoring the 2012 Fruitcake Film Challenge Film Festival. Come join the fun of this workshop oriented event, as we try to make holiday themed movies in just two hours! This festival offers a wonderful opportunity for first-time film makers and the most seasoned veterans to network, learn and share in the film creation process.

You can bring your own team, work solo, or come and be part of a team at the event. All you need is a video camera, be it a cell phone or full pro gear, or a computer with animation software. TIFN officers and members will be available to help answer questions and provide how-to tips and tricks throughout the event. You do not have to attend the Dec. 1 event to enter films, but your selection from the random draw film categories will not be announced until that day. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 3.

The films will be screened at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Carousel Luxury Cinemas at 1305 Battleground Ave. in Greensboro. There will be some very exciting prizes awarded from numerous local sponsors, all based on audience votes!

Don't miss out on this local holiday film tradition conceived in 2004 and getting more interesting every year!
