A new music and arts festival, catering to Triad youth and sponsored by the High Point Fine Arts Guild, will premier in November.

The venue, Release the Youth, is the first of many events founder Ryan Saunders hopes to bring to the Triad as he believes the community is lacking in long-term engagement of its younger population.

Release the Youth will also act as a vehicle to gain momentum and interest in the development of online magazine, “Create Your City."

Create Your City’s intention will be to bring innovative ideas from cities across the country, provide a voice for the Triad’s upcoming generation, as well as a platform for the public to present their ideas or support ones presented by other contributors, all in an effort to engage the community’s youth in participating and shaping the Triad, and specifically, High Point’s future.
