This exhibition features works by Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein that are currently on loan from the Robert Rosenblum Family. Robert Rosenblum (1927-2006) was an esteemed art historian and influential curator whose interests ranged from 18th- and 19th-century French painting to contemporary art. He held an endowed chair as professor of Modern European art at New York University from 1976 until his death, and also served as curator of 20th-century art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. A lecture on Rosenblum’s scholarly contributions will be held in the conjunction with the exhibition.
