Bill Clinton's talk in Guilford College's Bryan Series has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum (the original date was Thursday, Nov. 18). The event will be in the Greensboro Coliseum arena, in a 4,200-seat configuration. Single-event tickets for Clinton's talk Nov. 30 in the Bryan Series will go on sale Thursday, July 1 at Ticketmaster, charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000 and the Greensboro Coliseum box office. Bill Clinton was the first Democrat elected to two terms as U.S. president in six decades – first in 1992 and then in 1996. Under his leadership, the country enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history, including the creation of more than 22 million jobs. After leaving the White House, he established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to strengthen the capacity of people in the U.S. and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. The 2010-11 Bryan Series, presented by Guilford College, will explore economic, environmental and social aspects of sustainability in a five-program series with a theme of "Sustaining Community." Subscriptions for the upcoming season include reserved-seat tickets for lectures by Majora Carter, David Brooks, Bill Clinton, Jeannette Walls and Jean-Michel Cousteau. New subscriptions will be on sale beginning May 1 on this Web page and by phone at 336-218-5550.
