Keeper Talks at the Natural Science Center of Greensboro are formal and informal presentations for visitors given by the animal keeper staff with one or more animals. These presentations may or may not include food or enrichment. Check www.natsci.org for the weekly schedule. At 11:30, depending on the day, you may hear talks from the Keepers for the Gibbons, Meerkats, Otters or Tortoises. At 1:30, attend the Talk with the Otters. At 2:00, attend the Talk on the Tortoises and chat with Keepers about the Tigers, Howler Monkeys, Lemurs, Tamandua, or Maned Wolves. At 3:30 on Sundays and Wednesdays, witness the Croc feedings. Otherwise, at 3:30 Monday-Sunday, there will be Friendly Farm Keeper Talks. Friendly Farm Keeper Talks are usually opportunities for visitors to help feed the goats and sheep their afternoon hay under staff/docent supervision (the only time visitors are permitted to feed Animal Discovery animals). Around this time, a keeper is also available around the Frie ndly Farm area to answer questions while that keeper feeds the rest of the Farm animals.
