The Salimah Dance Company will present Dance…Icons of the Future, their annual spring recital, Sunday June 13, 2010 at 5pm at Harrison Auditorium, North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, North Carolina . Since 1976, Salimah has attracted hundreds of dancers throughout the Triad area. Sixty-five students will showcase their talents in an eclectic variety of dance including modern, jazz, lyrical, creative movement and liturgical. The recital finale’, “Remembering Michael”, performed to the electrifying music of Michael Jackson, featuring all sixty-five dancers is a rousing tribute to his memory. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for ages 5 to 12 years. Children under 5 years of age admitted free.
