Add Review/CommentSeveral thousand years ago, there were seven planets, the sun, the moon, and Mercury through Saturn. That changed. When I was growing up, there were nine planets, Mercury through Pluto with the sun and moon no longer being planets. Each planet was viewed as pretty much a separate, independent body. We knew very little about what each planet was like. Now we have a different perspective again. It is probably no longer valid to view the solar system as a collection of individual bodies. This presentation will attempt to look as the solar system as groups of bodies, all of which fit together into a consistent system. We will attempt to make sense out of the varied groups. guest speaker, Professsor Aaron Martin
