Snaketacular Festival

Add Review/CommentThe Natural Science Center of Greensboro will celebrate the reptile world with the wildly popular annual SNAKETACULAR festival on Saturday, September 22 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 23 from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Visitors to SNAKETACULAR will view live venomous snakes, such as cobras, gabboon vipers and puff adders, displayed by local Herpeteculturalist, Ron Key. In addition, Herpeteculturalist Alan McLeod will exhibit his beautiful albino boas and pythons. SNAKETACULAR will also feature face painting, crafts and the opportunity to view a live crocodile feeding in the brand new Animal Discovery zoological park. The Herpetarium and Herpetology Discovery Lab will be open all day so visitors can see and pet some of the Natural Science Center’s established collection of snakes, other reptiles and amphibians.
