Join Shepherd's Center of Greensboro for our 20th Annual Celebration! Featured keynote speakers include Dr. Elbert Cole and Nader Robert Shabahangi! Dr. Cole, Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, past Board Member of the National Council on Aging and the American Society on Aging, as well as founder of Shepherd's Centers of America will provide a morning address followed by a workshop entitled The Power of New Ideas. Mr. Shabangi is the founder of AgeSong and Pacific Institute in California and is best known for promoting excellence in assisted-living business practices. He is also author of the beautiful book "Faces of Aging". His workshop entitled Discovering Your Inner Elder will be followed by an afternoon keynote address. Shepherd's Center of Greensboro is an interfaith coalition encouraging community collaborations to engage and sustain active and homebound older people who desire to live independently. Our one-day celebration will be held at West Market Street United Methodist Church and will be followed by the Older Adult Ministry Conference...just $10 each day!
