ARTIST'S RECEPTION on Saturday, August 25: 5-7 pm Free & open to the public Theatre Art Galleries in the High Point Theatre presents: Full Circle, interior scenes and still lifes by High Point University Assistant Professor of Art, Scott Raynor (in the Main Gallery). 3 through the Looking Glass (in Gallery B) features extraordinary works inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The installation showcases painter, printmaker and ceramic artist Leanne Pizio, collage artist Millicent Greason and figurative painter Tiffany O’Brien. The newly formed Women’s Artists League (WAL) presents paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs by its members. Kaleidoscope Youth Gallery features the artwork from two children’s groups: the Communities-in-Schools program “Bridges to Success” at Kirkman Park Elementary, and self-portraits from the Latino Family Center CSS in High Point. On exhibit NOW through September 22, 2007 The exhibition and reception are Open free to the public Theatre Art Galleries is located downtown in the High Point Theatre at 220 East Commerce Ave. Call 887-2137 for hours and more information.
