Lake Junaluska Singers In concert at Christ UMC

The world famous Lake Junaluska Singers will be performing in concert at Christ United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the church Sanctuary. Organized by director, Dr. Glenn Draper, in the summer of 1956, the singers have gained international recognition with their recordings, concerts, TV appearances and their unique sound. They were introduced in Denver, Colorado at the World Methodist Conference as the “World Methodist Singers.” They have traveled to South America, England, Wales, Panama, Costa Rica, The Islands and the Holy Land. Their stop at Christ UMC is part of three tours throughout the Southeast and Texas. All are invited to join the Christ Church community for this entertaining and enjoyable musical presentation. The event is FREE, but an offering will be taken to benefit Africa mission work.
