Central Carolina Children's Chorus Spring Concert

The Central Carolina Children’s Chorus will hold its spring concert, the finale of its artistic year, on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church at 5 p.m. The concert is free and the public is invited. Central Carolina is a partner with the Centenary Music Academy and an educational affiliate of Bel Canto Company. The auditioned chorus is comprised of 60 singers from Forsyth County and surrounding areas in two talent divisions, ranging from 4th to 12th grades and a non-auditioned training choir for rising 2nd to 4th graders. The repertoire includes a mix of classical and contemporary selections for treble and mixed voices, madrigals and sacred music. The artistic director is Anne Saxon. St. Timothy’s is at 2575 Parkway Drive, off Knollwood Street. This year’s concert is dedicated in memory of Dr. Lara G. Hoggard
