Greensboro will welcome almost 1,000 delegates and guests from more than 15 states for Forum 2010, the annual conference for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) on Saturday, April 24-28, 2010 to be held at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel and Koury Convention Center. Presented by the Triad chapter of the leading, national organization for black executives and public service workers, the 5-day conference will present a wide choice of interactive workshops, a public policy forum and social activities designed to educate and nurture current and future African Americans in the field of public administration on topics relevant to today’s Black community. Forum speakers include Greensboro’s first African American city manager and NFBPA member Rashad Young, with featured inspirational speakers TV One commentator and contributor to The Situation Room and Anderson Cooper 360, Roland Martin; actor and best-selling author, Hill Harper; president of Bennett College, Dr. Julianne Malveaux; and state president for AT&T North Carolina, Cynthia G. Marshall. Forum 2010 Golf Tournament Wednesday, April 28, 2010 Grandover Golf Resort Join the NFBPA for their annual golf tournament to benefit the local chapter's scholarship program and the NFBPA endowment fund.
