The Magnificents, one of North Carolina’s favorite beach/oldies/R&B bands, will perform in concert at The Paramount Theater, Saturday, March 13 at 7PM. The show, a fundraiser for the Women’s Division of the Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce, gets underway at 7PM.

“The Mag’s,” as they are known by their fans, began playing in the mid-1960’s. After breaking up in the early 1970’s, members of the group, along with new members, began playing again in 2006. The next year, they won the Carolina Beach Music Association’s “New Band of the Year” award.

    Tickets: $10 each and all seats are reserved. Credit card reservations (VISA, Mastercard and Discover only) can be made by calling 336-222-TIXS. All other tickets must be purchased at the Paramount box office weekdays between 12-3PM and one hour to any ticketed event.
