Author Jay Parini will deliver a talk entitled “Thirteen Books that Changed America” Thursday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Dana Auditorium. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Parini, the D. E. Axinn Professor of English and Creative Writing at Middlebury College, is a well-known author of novels, poetry, biography and criticism. His latest book, Promised Land, examines the books he believes represent the soul of the American republic.
