    Public speaking is number one on the fear chart. More people are afraid of public speaking than they are of snakes, or spiders, or airplanes, or elevators. The objective of the Speak Up Workshop is to give participants the tools with which to use fear to their advantage, and to replace its debilitating symptoms with positive performance techniques. This free introductory workshop is given by Carol Roan, author of SPEAK EASY: A Guide to successful performances, presentations, speeches and lectures. Two workshop times are available on Tuesday, March 9, from 6-7:30pm and on Saturday, March 13, from 3-4:30pm.
