Human Race

Gather family and friends to walk/run for the Greensboro Children’s Museum. This is a great way to prepare for the Running of the Green, the Museums 5k event on May 22, 2010. The Human Race is a community fundraising event sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Greensboro. Participants raise money for their favorite nonprofit organization. On Race Day, fundraisers gather at Grimsley High School to walk, run, or roll in support of their chosen nonprofit. You can participate in The Human Race as an individual fundraiser or work together as a team. Race Day features a 5K walk and competitive run, free food, live music, prizes, and other activities. The Triad’s local Human Race is planned, managed, and promoted by The Volunteer Center of Greensboro, Inc., a nonprofit that strengthens our community by connecting people to meaningful volunteer opportunities.
