Catch the Rhythm: Spring Community Day
April 10, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Our biannual Community Day is a chance for all ages to experience the museum. Visitors will enjoy a variety of art activities, refreshments, and live performance . Young dancers from the “We Are One Cultural Arts Project” will perform a short concept movement piece inspired by the works of Leonardo Drew, and visitors young and old can join in a musical performance by “The Healing Force”, celebrating African culture, spirit and creativity. Public Programming for "Existed: Leonardo Drew" is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
