Artist Talk + Opening Reception - Leonardo Drew

6 pm Artist Talk (free, tickets required, see below)
7 pm Exhibition Opening + Reception
7:45 pm "Sociography", created and performed by UNCG Professor of Dance Larry Lavender and students in the UNCG Dance Department Due to limited seating, tickets will be issued for Leonardo Drew's talk. Up to two tickets may be reserved by calling the RSVP line at (336) 334-5770 or emailing weatherspoon@uncg.edu. Tickets also may be picked up at the Weatherspoon during regular gallery hours. The public reception will be held at 7 pm following the talk. Tickets are not required for the reception. Admission to the talk and reception is free. "Sociography" is a movement piece choreographed and conceptualized specially for the opening of "Existed: Leonardo Drew" by Dr. Larry Lavender, UNCG Department of Dance, and featuring music, Mobiles (There is No End), by Kyle Bobby Dunn. Creators and performers include John Dillon, Lauren Drake, Emily Hatfield, Andrea Lalley, Larry Lavender, Anne-Brady Lewis, Marialena Maggi, and Caitlin Spencer.
